If prompted for a pin when trying to connect to WiFi, it typically means your device is trying to connect using WPS and needs the pin located on the label of your router to establish an internet connection. Sometimes the pin can be located on the settings page for your router. If you normally use a password or security key to connect to Wi-Fi, use the steps below to connect to your wireless internet connection using your Wi-Fi password.
- Select the option to connect using a security key instead. This should be listed slightly below the field to enter in your pin.
- On the following screen, enter your wireless password (network security key).
- Select Next to finish connecting to your wireless network.
