This utility can allow you to configure access to Internet services such as certain games or online service, for specific devices.
Blocking Existing Services
- Access the web interface for your fibre router.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click Scheduling and Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click Service Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Select the service you would like to block from the Service list.
- Then either:
- Select the devices you would like to block on from the Device drop down.
- Or, enter the IP address of the device you would like to block the website on in the IP Address field.
- Click the Apply button.
Creating the Configuration for a New Service
- Access the web interface for your fibre router.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click Scheduling and Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click Service Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click the New button.
- Enter the Name of the service you would like to block.
- Select the Protocol from the drop-down list.
- Enter the Port Start for the service you would like to block.
- Enter the Port End for the service you would like to block. If you only need to block a single port number.
- Click Apply.
- Repeat steps 6 to 8 to include additional ports to block for one application or click the Go Back button to complete the setup.
- Your new service should appear in the Service list mentioned in the Blocking Existing Services section above.
