This utility can allow you to configure access to Internet services such as certain games or online service, for specific devices.


Blocking Existing Services

  1. Access the web interface for your fibre router.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click Scheduling and Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
  4. Click Service Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
  5. Select the service you would like to block from the Service list.
  6. Then either:
    • Select the devices you would like to block on from the Device drop down. 
    • Or, enter the IP address of the device you would like to block the website on in the IP Address field.  
  7. Click the Apply button.


Creating the Configuration for a New Service

  1. Access the web interface for your fibre router.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click Scheduling and Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
  4. Click Service Blocking on the left-hand side of the screen.
  5. Click the New button.
  6. Enter the Name of the service you would like to block.
  7. Select the Protocol from the drop-down list.
  8. Enter the Port Start for the service you would like to block.
  9. Enter the Port End for the service you would like to block. If you only need to block a single port number.
  10. Click Apply.
  11. Repeat steps 6 to 8 to include additional ports to block for one application or click the Go Back button to complete the setup.
  12. Your new service should appear in the Service list mentioned in the Blocking Existing Services section above.
